2. Summary of Our Project
The Golden Temple (Harmandir Sahib), located in the city of Amritsar, India is a Sikh gurdwara (place of worship). It is the most well-known gurdwara and is considered a sacred place by Sikhs. It was first constructed in 1604 and was later rebuilt in 1764. Located inside many gurdwaras are common kitchens/canteens known as a langar. At the langar, food is served to all visitors regardless of faith or background. Vegetarian food is often served to ensure that all people, even those with dietary restrictions, can eat together as equals. The largest langar is found at the Golden Temple. It typically feeds roughly 50,000 people a day for free. On religious holidays and weekends, the langar can feed upwards of 100,000 people a day. This incredible feat is made possible through donations and volunteers. In this project students will research about the entire process at the Golden Temple Grand Kitchen from preparation of the food to the cleaning of the utensils of such a magnitude and never ending trail of devotees who are fed 24x 7 in very neat and hygienic environment.
Project Goal Description: The goal of our project is to showcase local manmade attraction of our community Golden Temple: Langar Hall- The world’s biggest free eatery to the world as it an eatery of its own kind, which makes it unique in multiple ways.

4. Problems We Had To Overcome
The speed of computer was slow in school, we spent our spare time to search on the web. We were not familiar with graph processing software, learning by doing. Time for after school activities was insufficient, to make full use of weekend and the extracurricular activities As long as you are willing to use the brain, there's always a way. The Management Committee of our research topic The Biggest Free Eatery in the World were very co-operative and appreciative. When we reached the research place there were too many people and crowded place. We found little difficulty in reaching the giant kitchens but helpful and co-operative volunteers helped us to reach the place where we wanted to.
5. Our Project Sound Bite
One God four doors, we try to live equally.Self -less Seva (service), we come together peacefully. Serving Langar, tell my neighbour eat with me. And no more caste system because we believe in unity. We are Sikhs!!! We have endured such a satisfaction and pride during the research, we realized in the time of modernism doing self less service by feeding the hungry stomachs and that too in such a huge number and incessantly cannot be less than a feat and divinely motivation. We eventually realized that excellent management skills of manpower and material resources is a matter of deep understanding and blessings of God as well.In this research, we have recorded the key elements of our culture of seva (dedication)and sadbhav (we-feeling)
