Project Overview

1. Description of Our Community

The Central China Normal University Anning affiliated school is located at the Shajingyi street community, Anning district, Lanzhou City. The school was not built until this year,which was cooperated by the Anning District government and the central China Normal University, and it was began to be opened formally in September 16th, the school building is very beautiful, but the surrounding environment is bad, in order to make the school more beautiful, people were looking forward to improve the school environment.

2. Summary of Our Project

Through the research for Huazhong Normal University peace Affiliated Experimental School and its surroundings, we can have a profound understanding to the school environment. Through this topic research, let us feel the importance and urgency to change school and its surrounding environment, and called on the government to improve the school environment, protect our green home. Let us act to mobilize the government and people. Mobilize the whole society to change environmental problems which were caused by historical reasons. Let us do masters of the city, environmental advocates, to tell the people the importance of changing the appearance of the city. Let us realize the city environmental protection should be started from the side and do the little things.

4. Problems We Had To Overcome

1?It was student’s first time join the Cyberfair, we wade across the stream by feeling the way, learning by doing, and communicated with teachers without dela. 2?We faced with a lot of difficulties on collecting material and making web page. We had to visit and interview for collecting firsthand materials. 3?Time limited, because of the late of school starting, it was too late for registration. We had to use noon relaxation time to take picture, use weekend to visit and interview. 4?Our adviser was busy with taking over class for absent teachers, he was very hard. And for that we thank him.

5. Our Project Sound Bite

By combining theory with practice and changing studying manners, cooperative and inquiry learning make students realize the pleasure of learning, let they learn more knowledge and enhance more practical abilities.

6. How did your activities and research for this CyberFair Project support standards, required coursework and curriculum standards?

The web page making was simple but hardship process. if there are opportunities in the future we shouldn't pass up. We believe no pains, no gains. Studying manners of the students should be changed; cooperative and inquiry learning make students realize the pleasure of learning. Learning more knowledge and developing more skills and abilities, students must be taught to love homeland, love country and love nature.

By combining theory with practice and changing studying manners, cooperative and inquiry learning make students realize the pleasure of learning, let they learn more knowledge and enhance more practical abilities.

Our school has one computer classroom that including 60 computers with good configuration. School provides 10M ADSL access to the internet.
