4. Problems We Had To Overcome

The biggest challenge we have in this project is time. We have to translate a website form Chinese to English in 2 weeks. We need to make sure that everything is on schedule as a Taiwanese middle school student. We have to face a lot of exams and homework to find the time to work on this project is also a big challenge. But we improved our website skills. We improved our video editing skills and learned about how to make surveys.

5. Our Project Sound Bite

Attending the international school cyber fair let us learn about the different cultures in different nations around the globe. We also saw a lot of different interesting websites that we've never seen before and the opportunity to spread the beauty of our community is a valuable experience.

6. How did your activities and research for this CyberFair Project support standards, required coursework and curriculum standards?

We have a meeting every Thursday noon during the noon break To work bad discuss about our project Topic analyze Art design Video editing And showing our hard work in front of our classmate

Project Elements

1) What information tools & technologies did you used to complete your CyberFair project?

We improved our website making skills And using the internet fatly and accurate to find information The tools like google drive is a big helper for us The internet has really helped us a lot The perfect tool for our work is the google drive Upload the info on the drive Then everyone can download and view the files and info almost everywhere Thanks to cloud computing

2) In what ways did you act as "ambassadors" and spokespersons for your CyberFair project both on-line and in person.

To discover the favorites of the public about animus We did a survey online and asked a lot of local Taipei citizens Everyone had different thoughts about Tianfu But everyone liked this multi-cultural melting pot Balancing the nature and economic growth of a town isn't easy So we should protect the valuable culture and environment of tianmu

3) What has been the impact of your project on your community?

The students and the pat (parents' teachers association) have interesting thoughts about our website Especially about the interview part Many people think it's cool to do interviews outside We’re very generous about the stores and restaurants that coordinated with us That’s why we think that it's fun to do a website about the local community .we had been to a baseball stadium during the noon break. We’ve been too well know restaurants and coffee shops To do interviews. We filmed the New Year’s fireworks and celebrating the New Year the moment the clock struck twelve We learn a lot and had a lot of exciting experiences during the days.

4) How did your project involve other members of your community as helpers and volunteers?

There are many helpers who have help us, but the one who helped us the most is our Teacher. She helped us a lot by organizing meetings and treating us who we did well. She gives us knowledge about the internet. We learn a lot form her. We also need to thank TONY’s MOM, she put our survey online and let many people know about the survey.

5) Discoveries, Lessons and Surprises (Optional)

We’ve learned a lot of skills this time But the most important lesson this time is to finish the work as fast as we can Time is the most valuable thing we have. We need to translate everything in shortly 2 weeks. We have to do most of the work at home but also try to review the schoolwork. On many days we also need to go to cram school, but still haven't finish the work That should be done tomorrow So sometimes we have to pull all-nighters to get all of our work done. We had little time to finish the website So we work really hard to get it done
