Project Overview

1. Description of Our Community

Tianjhong is a provincial place. In the public eye, it could be nothing but a plain country town, but in our hearts, it would be the very best wonderland. Although it is not so prosperous as big cities, you can enjoy a peaceful life here. In the midnight of summer, frogs will chorus lullabies for you to fall asleep, and in the early morning, roosters will wake you up in a sonorous tone. 2. Summary of Our Project

In Qing Dynasty, a scholar, Shao-nian Chen, who was born in Tianjhong and passed the imperial exam at the county level, created an ambience of study at that time. His residence, Shou Shan Hall, was designed in a special style of architecture then and has been well preserved till now. Chen’s grandson, Jing Sung Chen went abroad to study in medical college in Japan. After he finished his study, he turned back and established the Jing Sung Hospital, the first modernized hospital in his hometown Tia

Our school has two computer classrooms are connected with the academic network, so we try to use school computers to complete their work, and all of our members have personal computers at home, were also fitted with the network, so even at home can transfer data or to collect data.

4. Problems We Had To Overcome

This is our first time to join the Web community fairs, so all kinds of difficulties. (1) experience: experience points equal to zero, thus making the Web page more explicit way. (2) cooperation: language conflict often disagree, and even when we discussed. (3) schedule, would have a poor, rush at the last minute. (4) skill: I wonder if the methods and techniques of Web design software

5. Our Project Sound Bite

We study it, learn the skills of making Web pages, and also learn efficient data integration, with the actual interviews, with the people we have questions and answers, insight we feature real content and significance, and more about our hometown relied upon by every story, every move.

6. How did your activities and research for this CyberFair Project support standards, required coursework and curriculum standards?

1) What information tools & technologies did you used to complete your CyberFair project?

We learn how to webpage and efficient integration of query data, after we wrote the content, enhance our language skills, and will certainly cooperate, learn to discuss, we play the role of cultural Ambassador on the place, I hope people can really benefit because of us, but also to actually visit.

2) In what ways did you act as "ambassadors" and spokespersons for your CyberFair project both on-line and in person.
