1. Description of Our Community
Riverhead is located in theEastern United States. We are part of New york State. The town is approximately 100 miles from New York City. It is considerred a rural environment.
2. Summary of Our Project
Our project is about the overpopulation of the white tail deer in our community. They are beautiful animals that ruin farmers crops and cause many accidents because there is very little habitat left for them. They also spread disease because they are infected with Lyme disease which is passed on through bugs called ticks. this makes them dangerous and creates great controversy when hunters go out to bring ddown populations.

4. Problems We Had To Overcome
Time was a great obstacle for creating the project. due to poor weather conditions, which caused school closings, students and the moderators where not able to meet.
5. Our Project Sound Bite
participation in the Cyber Fair has re energized our students into, not only thinking creatively, but they have also become great researchers and begun thinking globally for their audience.
6. How did your activities and research for this CyberFair Project support standards, required coursework and curriculum standards?
Our project addresses ELA Common Core Standards. These standards the necessity or incorporating technology into our curriculum.This is a new standards that has come into place this year. WE learned how to use a computer better. this means creating clothing to promote the website and the cyber fair. Using the internet for teaching is another tool in which to engage students.
