Therefore, Taipei is the scholarly city. Our school is located in the Wenshan District, Taipei which is cultural and educational area. The reading resources are very rich.

Through school early study time, the volunteers tell stories for children, in order to advance storytelling to elementary classes. It's the volunteers of Teacher Lin Storytelling Team rise this atmosphere. We hope that we can know more about this selfless dedication storytelling team by actual visits, interviews, and other activities, thematic research and so on. 4. Problems We Had To Overcome

1.Limited Time: Because our students have all kinds of activities after school ,so we can only use the mid time and fragmented time. For using time more efficiently we have to think an exhaustive plan for our project before acting. 2.The information searching and data integration : At first teacher want us to get to know the Teacher Lin Storytelling Group through the Internet but we found it is very difficult because there is only a few introduction of them. Therefore we began to connect the relative persons, we hope that we could get the first-hand information through interviews. 3. Lack of the technique of interview: We do not have any experience of interview .Therefore before our first interview , the teacher gave us a note about the skill of interview. Then she assigned our outlines, everyone must memorized your outlines and practiced your expressions and voice in front of the mirrors. We used the midday rest to rehearse with each other, and the teacher would give us some advice to improve. We total have two interviews, the first interview we felt very nervous but it got better in the second one. 4.Typing the transcript of interviewees : Although the teachers taught us how to make a note during the interview, but it is totally a different situation when you actually did it. We have to listen to the interviewees vary carefully and gave them some response and note the content of their saying in our notebooks. It is really a tough things to us. So when we gave our first transcript of interview the teacher turn it back to us to retyping again. Since the first time training we did it better in the second time.

5. Our Project Sound Bite

This is a beautiful, magical adventure, which is full of new discoveries and surprises.Through this project we have seen that passions can overcome all kinds of problems. We aroused ourselves, and discover our abilities of organizing plans, and having meetings with classmates. We realized that we are able to write so many interesting articles. In addition, we learned not to be afraid to ask questions in front of people. The most amazing thing is that all of us are looking forward to the next CyberFair!

6. How did your activities and research for this CyberFair Project support standards, required coursework and curriculum standards?

Through actual visit, interview volunteers and so on, we use thematic research in order to know this selfless story team, and introduce them how to make Taipei become dreaming story world. 1. Language Arts-In this project ,we have to learn the skills of interview. Before the interview we need to make outlines?design questionnaires?information integration?finish progress reports and gained knowledge. It not only promoted our abilities of writing but also our expression. 2. Mathematics- For finding out the group of audience, we used Excel to form statistics and charts. Thus we could know about the audience and the effect of storytelling. 3. Science and technology-We used Photoshop and Photoimpact to edit our pictures. We also used tablet to design our webpage. It enriched our vision of art. 4. Arts and Humanities- Computer art design lessons, make posters when conducting the research of “Teacher Lin Storytelling Group Make Story Dream ComeTrue.

5. Integrative Activities: This project is cross-class cooperation, we have to learn how to manage our after school time. During this period we discuss?express opinion and coordinate with others. We learned that if we want to complete a great?complicated task, everyone in this team has to pay efforts. We also realized the importance of teamwork. We used internet to collect and research the information about Teacher Lin Storytelling Group. Then we wrote an e-mail to TPL to propose our project. The TPL responded us and informed the Group leader Teacher Liu-Min about our project. Then our project started to begin.

As the result, they were enthusiastic, too. They answered every question we asked. We really appreciated that.

5) Discoveries, Lessons and Surprises (Optional)

As soon as I knew I could be a member of”Taiwan Schools Ccyberfair ”,I was really excited and happy.I have to thank the teachers –my mentor Miss Hsu,and my social teacher in grade four Miss Lin,who recommended me to participate in the competition and make the webpage .Because of them,I could have the chance to participate in this activity. At first,we had to find information about web pages, so we used a lot of time to do the homework on the weekends, there was no time for us to take a break. We also had to interview volunteers, listen to stories, write columns and logbooks,it was hard work. But I’m glad I’m still here, because it was not easy to be a participant in the Fair.It was my privilege and a good chance to practice! It was hard work for me, but I learned a lot .Our teachers:Miss Shi and Miss Hsu and team mates encouraged me to stay in the team. They gave me the courage to go through this difficult journey. There’s an expression :”No pain no gain”.If a tree seedling wanted to grow like a big tree,it has to bear countless storm winds. If a bird wanted to fly high in the sky,and enjoy its travels,it has to learn how to fly,and not fear failing. We are the same as them,we need to persevere and work hard to make a beautiful website,to get a good result, and enjoy the sweet fruit of our labor`!
