1) What information tools & technologies did you used to complete your CyberFair project?
a. The tools we have used are as following. They are 6 laptop computers, telephones, digital cameras, scanners, digital tape recorders, Microsoft Office, Photo Impact, libraries, books, newspapers, museums and oral interviews.
b. They help us to process documents and photos easily.
c. We locate through schools, parents, teachers, classmates and friends.
d. No, we borrow those tools from schools, parents, teachers, classmates or friends.
e. I think the laptop computer is the most valuable tool. It is because we could type, edit document, modify photos or build website by it.
f. Internet is the most helpful technology. It helps a lot for us to gather information that we need for this project.
2) In what ways did you act as "ambassadors" and spokespersons for your CyberFair project both on-line and in person.
Our students act as 'ambassadors' and spokespersons for our Cyberfair project in the following ways: a.Well considered in every respect: We visit Lin An Tai historical house, join activities of it and we even have interview with officials, experts, offspring, volunteers and visitors of it to make more people be aware of this Cyberfair project.
b.Well connected website: We build a website to introduce and to promote Lin An Tai historical house. We also put this website onto websites of our school and our class.
c. Well definite report: We also make a report of our project. We present it in public for our schoolmate.We hope after our presentation there will be more people to emphasize or to cherish those historical monuments.
3) What has been the impact of your project on your community?
a.Yes, we already let more schoolmates and parents to know things about southern Fukien architecture and the feature of this historical site.
b.Yes, people of my community learn more knowledge of southern Fukien architecture and they also know the importance of preserving this historical site.
c.Yes, they know that there is such a good place to go during their free time.
d.We established new working relationship with people in our community and they are so helpful if we needed some tools like digital tape recorder or digital cameras.
e.Besides the students, their parents and other school teachers also looked our website.
f.We gained some positive feedback from the visitors of that historical site and also form the people in our community. They all encourage us to continue joining this cyber fair project which make us some warm. For nowadays people in Taipei seem to be so indifferent to others.
g.We make people in our community know thing about this historical site and also provide them information to go during the weekend in the neighborhood of this historical site.
4) How did your project involve other members of your community as helpers and volunteers?
a. Director of department of civil affair provides us with the information about the development and preservation plan for Lin An Tai historical house.
b.Descendants of Lin’s family Mr. Lin Qing Long tell us about the history and stories about Lin An Tai historical house.
c.Expert of southern Fukien culture Prof. Lin introduce the culture and customs of southern Fukien.
d.Leader of volunteers Ms. Zheng share her work experience as being a volunteer in Lin An Tai historical house.
e. Volunteer Mr. Tong and Ms. Liu help us with reserving free tour guiding service and show us some information about Lin An Tai historical house.
f.Volunteer Mr. Xie provide us with a vivid tour guiding.
g.D.I.Y. teacher form Lin An Tai historical house teaches us to make sachet.
h. Principal Chen always cheer students up.
i.Neighborhood magistrate help us with contacting D.C.A director.
j.Parents form Binjiang Elementary School help to pick students up when we need to visit Lin An Tai historical house.
