1. Description of Our Community
We here is located in mountainous areas, industry is underdeveloped, the main resource is coal, however these resources doesn’t bring much benefit for the local economy, and environmental pollution is serious, the Industrial town has now become dilapidated. It seems that the 5.12 earthquake brings new vitality to the Wangcang economy, the development is very rapid. The price of real estate is rising every day, the supermarkets are also more and more, the things are better and better, and the price is higher and higher. The local agricultural industry is mainly rice and corn, winter crops are mainly wheat. Now herbal medicine planting is more and more popular in the mountains, aquaculture also has certain development. The main is to raise pigs and sheep. Vegetation is lush, and the wild products are also relatively abundant.
2. Summary of Our Project
Everyone has ideas and their own ideas in hearts, these ideas might be very classic or ordinary. But we are still young, so we should make our dreams come true. However, to have the spirit of exploration is the first step we should go out, to study, to analyze, to know the world in front of you. Bitter, tired, experience here, harvest is also formed in this process when you were working laboriously, tired and experienced. So although I suffer difficulties, I am happy, although I am tired, I am proud. We learn to do webpage, holding a debate meeting, discussing questions, interviewing fellows. We are growing up in a trickle of sweat.

The school has more than 1300 students, and the total number of teaching computers is more than 150, because the time is longer, part of the computers have many malfunctions, so they are not very useful. A single 10M optical fiber shoulders the whole office system accesses. Speed is slow when the whole are surfing online. In addition that there are many people and a few computers, so the computers can’t idle, it has a great influence on students' creation.
4. Problems We Had To Overcome
In the production process, we often encounter strange codes, can’t use image processing software, interviewing outside and so on. With the support of Principal Qing in our school, we take the spare time to surf the Internet, going out to interview, to learn webpage making method from others, so our work can be completed successfully.
5. Our Project Sound Bite
Through this activity, we learned a lot of knowledge, not only get a great harvest on the network and on webpage making, but also understand philosophy and the world deeply, I believe that we will gain more in the near future, we will do better.
6. How did your activities and research for this CyberFair Project support standards, required coursework and curriculum standards?
Our class schedule is very busy, and we have no chance to surf online in the computer class. In order to finish this project, we put the main activity time in extracurricular, watching the news, talking about news, holding discussion meeting, engage in group activities and so on, enrich students' spare life, promote the individual's cognitive ability. In class, our teacher mainly teaches us learning webpage making skills, graphic processing method, to make the students master the skills of knowledge. The combination between inside and outside of the classroom creates favorable conditions to finish Cyberfire smoothly.
