Project Overview

1. Description of Our Community

Our description about the community tianzhu Tibet town is located at the southeastern are of wuwei city in gansu province, qilian mountain eastern area, jingtai county in the east, yongdeng county in the south, liangzhou district in the north,. Nanyu guzu town in the northwest, menyuan, huzhu, and ledu in the west. Lanxin railway is across the middle and 312 highway is from south to north. The mountain and line is the way from east to west. It is at the throat of the hexi. Around the whole county there is 7149 square meters, living the 16 people, in the amount of 22.14 thousands. Inside the land, the mountains is around, with the forest and snow mountain with the height as 4874 meters. The air is fresh and good environment, famously named as the highland golden basin.

2. Summary of Our Project

Tianzhu county haxi town is the gathering places of multi-people. In the height around 2400-4146, the average temperature is 1.5, the key town. 5 years before, the villager here just 600 imcome, severely damaged the life. Since last year the government work together with the zhangyi about the yinsen industry, getting the obvious effect. 80% of the grower get the cost back. From the income of last year, 1185 has decided. We hope our work can help the local farmers.

1) school internet environment we have 216 computers available internet. 2) internet environment: there is one no computer, we can only use weekend to finish the task,

4. Problems We Had To Overcome

Our time is tight, there is only one month to finish. During this period, our classroom delay for one week. So in this short time, we are hard to finish the task. such as we have no camera, It is good we have a shop. Owing to the season reason, we didn’t get the photo of spring and summer and the whole summer.

5. Our Project Sound Bite

This webpage making is done by the member, we share and donate a lot. In the first webpage making and details searching, our dingjihong donated a lot, his homeland is haxi town. He provided valuable picture and yinsen details. In this process, we get the encouragement. We never quit. After all, in the webpage making our member need members work. Planning

6. How did your activities and research for this CyberFair Project support standards, required coursework and curriculum standards?

This activity pay more attention on the practice, cultivating the students to find the questions. Promoting the realistics, and fully display the info tech.

Before the interview, we work out all the details giving dingjihong. After the interview, we work out the interview with the his father.

3) What has been the impact of your project on your community?

In our interview and collecting, the telephone are welcome by the local farmer. They expect the people to sell. When we want to spread it to the world, they are active, one said : with the help government, the market is prosperous, more and more fruit going to the international market.

4) How did your project involve other members of your community as helpers and volunteers?

Through this research, we understand yinsen fruit growing and current situation. Through the activity, students not only enlarge the horizon but also love homeland and labor.

5) Discoveries, Lessons and Surprises (Optional)

After the interview, we see the fruit, the farmers are busy with the planting fruit. Though the fruit is different shape, the value is same. We hope it can provide more benefit to the farmers. At the same time it will produce the fruit for the nationwide.
