Project Overview

1. Description of Our Community

Bali, facing Damshui and separated by Damshui River, locates around the Guanyinshan. Bali Left Shore is on the right side, and Taipei Business Harbor is on the left.

2. Summary of Our Project

Our project is to care and awareness the dog , we do a lot of action and go around the Bali to meet many people,tell them about the dog's story .

The Taipei County Government carries out campus informationization,so our school provides many computers and fast network.

4. Problems We Had To Overcome

We carried out many interviews and on-the-spot investigations in school and out. Among the activities, one was to visit Bali Animal Protection Area .A car couldn't carry all students because of too many students .Fortunately, a teacher investigated the numbers in advance, and then borrowed four cars to carry students. Some colleague also volunteered to carry students left over. Therefore, we could make the visit and interview successfully.

5. Our Project Sound Bite

During the activities, teachers lead students to participate in the whole activities. In the beginning, students have a smattering knowledge. But in the end of the course, every student can speak with fervor and assurance.Then,they become the expert of protecting animals. Teachers are very gratified. We all believe that after the monographic project, students and teachers and earn much precious knowledge and carry out the main concept of educating in livelihood.

6. How did your activities and research for this CyberFair Project support standards, required coursework and curriculum standards?

During the activities, teachers lead students to participate in the whole activities. In the beginning, students have a smattering knowledge. Project Elements

1) What information tools & technologies did you used to complete your CyberFair project?

From this monographic project, we learned so many computer techniques and how to use digital equipments, such as, digital cameras, voice-recording pen, Network hard discs, drafting software, and website-making software. Although not everyone can have them at home, we can make use of them well at school.

2) In what ways did you act as "ambassadors" and spokespersons for your CyberFair project both on-line and in person.

Students and teachers go to the community ,and tell them knowledge about the dog , and interview the people in school , community . People can understand stray dogs better through the interaction between the students and the community.

3) What has been the impact of your project on your community?

People can understand stray dogs better through the interaction between the students and the community.

4) How did your project involve other members of your community as helpers and volunteers?

5) Discoveries, Lessons and Surprises (Optional)

Proceeding the activities, we learned how to talk with strangers ,and how to express our thoughts. And then that will let more and more people support us. I hope that our team can get better and better, besides, we can help more and more stray animals.
