Project Overview

1. Description of Our Community

Our school is located Nankang, the past bus stop card name of the Kun-yang MRT station in Nankang is 'The Health Building'. There are some organizations of governments. One of them is the Kun-yang office of the Centers for Disease Control,R.O.C.(Taiwan). What matter do they do? What achievements and contributings to nation and society did they have? These all let us have great interes to want to understand.

2. Summary of Our Project

In Taiwan, every student would have various vaccine in elementary school. Teacher always tell us to take attention of popular disease such as the bird's flu, dengue fever and enterovirus...etc. It once broke out the craze red eye disease in school lately. How to know these epidemic situations are breaking out? Who find out method to prevent and cure these diseases? These all make us curious.

The school network links to the Taipei City Education Network Center via a 100MB optical fiber link. When we were at school, we collated data, designed webpage and made drawings in the computer classroom during lunchtime. Also, we also stored images and text records on google cooperation platform.

4. Problems We Had To Overcome
