4. Problems We Had To Overcome

1.Most of the city children may encounter same problem, going to the cram school occupies too many times, so it seemed difficult to find time getting together to complete the required progress report and lessons what have learned within a very limited hour. Therefore, sometimes it will need the professor’s reminder. We usually made use of the lunch break to finish it. Subjected to the deficiency of the computer equipment in the school, we should take turns at using the only one allowance of computer. 2.This contest was not so simple as it can image. We have met many tasks while integrating all different opinions, even almost to give up. But the supports from the professors encouraged us to carry on. Once determined the target, we proceed step by step under our to-do-list. When meeting a problem, all the teammates solved it in all. We learned “Where there is a will, there is a way.” 3.We focused on Mr. Wu Jin-long, with him we inquire about our native place. Before this, we should publicize to every classroom. It’s very embarrassing for us to do this. But at last, we have made it.

5. Our Project Sound Bite

1.Learned from Mr. Wu that a strong interest inside a successful people, which supports him moving forward to achieve his goal, enjoying the process and without caring the hardship. 2.During this activity, we found that the team work produced a amazing strength, and the teammates got along with each others. 3.The dream is beautiful, but it based on your fulfilling. Otherwise, the dream would be just a dream. We usually image to get high scores in academic, dream about… But we never get laughed, maybe we are still young! But from this competition, we found that we grow up, actually we can fulfill our dream by our doings. We sensed our value that we can change the world, even if it is just a start. Thanks for this contest.

6. How did your activities and research for this CyberFair Project support standards, required coursework and curriculum standards?

During this study, we learned to command the skill how to raise a question, so as to grasp the content we need. Moreover, we learned how to master the software, e.g. Use Word to make Native Daily; use Excel to produce statistical chart; edit photos by PHOTOIMPACT; make web pages we made use of NAMO program. In this interview with Mr. Wu, we found that behind every story there is always an origin. When helping others, disregard the return will be very happy. As it was hard for us to deliver the progress report, but after paying the efforts to work out it, then it reworded us the happiness. In courses aspects, through this project, we integrate the Social Studies area, develop native teaching to be indoor, lively and circumstantial; preserve the traditional cultures, so as to influence the community, expanding to establish a Wuchang civilization sphere. In students, the students use multiple researches, like: interview, gather statistics, then to make web pages, also be taught the ability in the area Social Studies as well as Science and Technology. Nevertheless, we felt that time is not enough to do the project. Because it is tiring for few teachers to lead many students. At times, some teachers did not know well about the pupils, so the outcome was not so good. Our suggestion is to promote the mini class, and carry out teaching under a scheme to benefit more students. School bears the duty to lead the local culture in Wuchang Community. If we advocate and instruct the pupils to do the researches under a mature scheme, attend the contest, we believe it can help driving the social integration and development.
