At school we used the 10 giga internet which our school offered, and after working whole day, we begun to use the ADSL or cable modem that came from different companies to upload or to create our project in home.

4. Problems We Had To Overcome

During this project. We met some problems that really got us freek out. First. For the broser, because every computer broser are not exactly the same, so we had to consider about it and try to solve this problem to let every one csee the perfect website we made. The second is that we knew that there was a very important newpaper that match to out title, but because it has not accomplished for such a long time, we never had a chance to take a look of it and make it a good use. The third one is that our communication problems. Because like Ms. Hsu could only speak fluent Taiwaneese and Japeneese, and most of us couldn't understand any of them so it took us a lot of time to figure out what exactly was she talking about, and at that moment, the tape recorder really gave us a lot if help. The last one is to keep our project and our studying work moving on. Because we had to spend a lot of time on interviewing or making our website, at the beginning we often didn't do well on our school work , but after a while, we learned to arrange our time in the perfect spot and to use out time efficiently. And by that, we didn't have to worry about our home work or tests any more.

5. Our Project Sound Bite

During this contest, we have been through many experiences that most senior high school students wouldn't have. At the beginning, we did't have a clue about how to interveiw a person or hot to catch the main point of the conversation, but as time went by, we bacame more experienced and used to all kinds of situations. Academia Historica, which is not aloud for students like us to get informations has given us the chance to get in there and make good use of what ever we needed. And the most important is that by this project, we can get involved in Mr. Hsu Tze-chiu's personal life to let every one know who he was and what he did to our community.

6. How did your activities and research for this CyberFair Project support standards, required coursework and curriculum standards?

During this research, because that we had to contact many grownups, our communication skills certainly increased.and because we had to both work on our project and study, the skills of how to arrange time have proved. Ofcourse how to perform this project in the best way is what we also learned for sure.

Project Elements

1) What information tools & technologies did you used to complete your CyberFair project?

Telephones for contacting each other. Video and digital still cameras to record our meeting and taking pictures. Digitizers and scanners to scan the photos into the computer. Tape recorders to record the conversations between the interviews and us. Computer software to build our webpages or to type the words we want to say . Libraries For looking more informations. Books, newspapers to know what is happening in the outside. museums to Look for more informations oral interviews to know more about the person's personality.

2) In what ways did you act as "ambassadors" and spokespersons for your CyberFair project both on-line and in person.

All of our teammates separateed all the work, and we hoped that every time we go for an interview, all of us can be there, by this, we won't miss any bit of what others say and let them know that we really are focusing on it. The prevention before it is also important. For example, like the questions we are going to ask, who should ask and so on. All of these let us really learned a lot. What our missions to this contest is not only about winning, but it is about how to use these new technology to let every one knows Mr. Hsu Tze-chiu, and evern he has passed away, he could still live in our hearts forever.

3) What has been the impact of your project on your community?

During our research and after our project was finished. It had been more and more people visiting our website, and by the visit, more and more people would have the chance to know Mr. Hsu Tse-chiu well who had been forgotten by most of us. And after people gather talking about it. Not only in our country but also lots of poeple out of here have noticed this incredible guy and to know his politics and efforts. We think. From now on, there will be more people trying to do something to contribute this world. Where should our hope be? Isn't is right here?

4) How did your project involve other members of your community as helpers and volunteers?

This time if it wouldn’t be the assistance of the predecessors, the Internet fair wouldn’t be so successful. There is so much people we need to thank. And here they are. Madam Diau man lien- a repute reporter the magazine and Madam Liau shei fen-editor of the magazine. Which taught us how to interview people and to make it into a topic. Shi yiau tan couples- With their humor, we really had a wonderful evening after the exhausted workday. Liou chen shun couple- Who now is a God father, and provide us more details about Mr.Shi. Madam Shi won su yi- who let us into the national historical museum. Staff of the national historical museum. Mr.Ya chin chun-For letting us to interview him. Mr.Yao ka ming- To provide us his article about Mr. Shi. THANK to ALL!!

5) Discoveries, Lessons and Surprises (Optional)

Involing in this reasearch is like having and exciting advanture. Every time we interview some one, we can discover new things. Every step we cross is full of excitement. At first, our interviewing list was only Mr.Shih Yao-tang and Mr. Yeh Chin-chuan, but after these two interviews. More and more ideas and names came out, and caused us to interview more ane more people. At the same time we also went to the Academia Historica. We think that all of these have to thank to all of those men giving us there supporting and helping. Besides these excitement. We also lerned a lot. For all of it. We just want to say that this really is a good experience that we will never forget.
