4. Problems We Had To Overcome

a. Data collection: The metropolis park of Kaohsiung is established for almost 8 years, though we know it's transformed from the dump site, but lots of data not easy for us to reach.

b. Members: The member come from different classes, so they all have their own working and studying schedule. They are young, at grade 1 to 3 all included, so they lack experience of doing this kind of project. Due to time's limitation, this job is processing during the weekend mostly. c. Technology: The knowledge and skills of typing, computer, web construction and information searching are not insufficient for them to do this job well. We requested Ying-Ru's father to instruct the pupils the relaing skills at Wednesday night. The students' parents are all get involved in assisting the puipls.

d. Language: The pupils are not familiar with the local dialect, so they have problem to understand what the interviewees, the elder people, said while they are making interview. The parents and teachers do help them a lot, to translate the languages.

e. Progress control : At the beginning, since we are not familiar with the registration process, time is wasted for a while. Then the work must be done at home, and pupils's home network is connected by traditonal dialed phone, so the speed is pretty low. Due to the deadline is approaching, we're getting anxious.
