Mr. Jheng, ChunSyong who has his works all over campuses of southern Taiwan, is unfamiliar for faculties and students of RenDe Junior High School, as well as for those in National Tainan First Senior High School, and National Tainan Second Senior High School, and National HsinFeng Senior High School, and people in Tainan City and County and Kaohsiung City. However, by our website Project, art achievements of the “Son of RenDe” can be shared with school faculties and students and the general public of Southern Taiwan. Too surprised, the huge “spirit landmark” on the entrance of our school is made by his coarse, but powerful hands, and so are the relieve sculpture on our fences and art sculpture of 'Aesthetics' on the administration hall. Therefore, we make our minds to promote and introduce his devotion and provide some art fans at school with opportunity to explore magic things of bronze sculptures, as well as expectation multi-development of students instead of only studying, and inspiration of students’ aesthetic interests. 5) Discoveries, Lessons and Surprises (Optional)
Real copper can stand fire refining. Bronze sculpture, is made as hollow, more efforts, thinner with more polished surface; as solid, inclining to make the cave and concave surface when boiling and unable for heat relieving during filling liquid bronze of 1400 degree high temperature. Therefore, it will need profound bases on sculpturing skills.
During interviews with Mr. Jheng, ChunSyong, we find his name card shows the bird of our County Treasure, Black-faced Spoonbill, composed by three streamline S, revealing the mind of a sculptor. The first S curve is his work 'Spring', the second one is sculpture, his favorite, and the third one is studio, his place. Three S combines to shape a “bird’ flying in the sky, free and unrestricted, representing creation of an artist.
