1. Description of Our Community
The colorfully-painted walls of Tung Mang have captured the childhood memories of numerous students. The swaying green fig trees have been our children¡¦s big dolls. The quaint old Ren-I Building which witnesses Tung-Mang¡¦s splendid history and countless excellent graduates is still elegantly and majestically standing out. The red East Door (Tung-Mang in Chinese) in front of Ketagalan Avenue is like evening glow, and the red glimmering meanders a long way. It¡¦s a beauty more than one can take in. Tung Mang is located at the most prominent district ¡V the Po-Ai District of Taipei. It quietly sits in the interlacing traffic network of Ren-I Road, Shin-I Raod, Chang-San South Road, and Lin-Son South Road and it faces the Presidential Office Building. This ordinary primary school had its glorious days. It was ever a cradle to nurture Japanese noble juniors. Things have changed with the passing years. Nowadays, its education style is still very outstanding. Ministry of Education, Ministry of Foreign Affair, CKS Memorial Hall, National Central Library, NTU Hospital and Taipei Youth Activity Center are nearby. With great location and many talents, Tung-Mang has a great mind to carry on the heritage and to pave the way for the future generations. It will continue to pursue remarkable achievement, create great goals, and never give up.

Time Pressure: As mentioned, we often utilized the time before the first period and the time after school to design the web page and to type our report. However, we sometimes run into the situation that our discussion could not be finished because it¡¦s time to go to class. In order to meet the schedule, therefore, each one of us spent time efficiently, fully utilizing the break time at school and holidays. Computer Nightmare: The computer is a nightmare to us as well because the internet is usually jammed. Sometimes we needed to spend hours in order to find a particular piece of information. However, when we were ready to transform the information to FrontPage, computers crashed unexpectedly. Sometimes we were so frustrated and mad at the computer that we wanted to pound those machines into pieces. However, with another thought, these computers had been our best friend along the way and helped us from the very beginning. The computer nightmare really beat us.
