1. Description of Our Community

Shioushuei Shiang is so cute.The MING CHENG primary school (MCPS) located on No. 341, Sec. 2, Jangshuei Rd., Shioushuei Shiang, Changhua Taiwan 504, R.O.C.is a small-town village .The foremost famous fruits in winter is green pea .

2. Summary of Our Project

Teach the culture of our village to stuedents and appreciate the great nature .Just like the saying " no pains , no gains."

The students work in the computer classroom .Because they have no computer in their classroom .

4. Problems We Had To Overcome

1. We have no computer in each classroom. 2. We must use our leisure time to research our project. 3. We must communite with the farmers . 4. The growth of green pea need a long time (about three months).

Just as the saying goes,"no pains ,no gains." God helps those who help themselves.

6. How did your activities and research for this CyberFair Project support standards, required coursework and curriculum standards?

Our project contains these courses of our school ,society,science and biology .We learn to know that cooperation is the mother of success.Also,by using the internet for teaching ,we learn more about what we want.

1) What information tools & technologies did you used to complete your CyberFair project?

The tools we use are v8,computer,scanner,telephone and camera .V8 is the most helpful.Because it record completely our classroom and extra-curricular activities.

2) In what ways did you act as "ambassadors" and spokespersons for your CyberFair project both on-line and in person.

The farmers are so impressed with our research of green pea.For instance , the farmers call the teachers and students automaticly and provide the tools we need.

3) What has been the impact of your project on your community?

Instruct the green pea culture of our cute village to the whole world.This makes everyone fells satisfied and honorable.

4) How did your project involve other members of your community as helpers and volunteers?

The first one we want to thank is the great nature.And then , the friendly farmers.The farmers teach us how to plant a garden with green peas.How to cut the green peas down.Also,they teach us how to take care green peas . Thank you so much.

5) Discoveries, Lessons and Surprises (Optional)

We find Gregor Johann Mendel(1822.7.22~1884.1.6)is a great man just as the great nature.Because he devote hemself to hereditism for many years.And we wish the next one will be in our kids.
