Project Overview

1. Description of Our Community

It's built on an old 濁水溪(Chu-Shui River), very similar like 冬山河(Don Shan River)in 宜蘭(I-Lang). There are infinite peddy field providing people in Peitou with a place to relax.

2. Summary of Our Project

Chang-hua meatball loved by celebrities. Special taste.

We used various approaches to complete this project: 1.interview 2.website 3.telephone 4.posters 5.photographes 6.commercial on the air

4. Problems We Had To Overcome

1.Most of the students don't have professional training. What they have is just some learning passion along with Steven's demonstration. 2.Peitou meatball is for low cost fast food places without much difference in it's making process. Also, it's because of some cooking recipe, owners always keep this as confidential making the interview more difficult.

5. Our Project Sound Bite

Students started to learn their hometown products and further expand the gourmer food to international market which will eventually make our hometown prosperous.

6. How did your activities and research for this CyberFair Project support standards, required coursework and curriculum standards?

1.Throuth this project, students learned the consolidation between the community and school. 2.Students learned how to collect information throuth different channels like books, magazines,interview,website,etc. 3.Team work and role play.

2) In what ways did you act as "ambassadors" and spokespersons for your CyberFair project both on-line and in person.

1.Students are expanded with their perspective through this project. 2.By interviewing with the stories, the students learned how to role play and interact actively.

3) What has been the impact of your project on your community?

This project will expand the international prospect of the students and therefore consolidate the community .

4) How did your project involve other members of your community as helpers and volunteers?

Most of the stories that had been interviewed are those with popularity. With this unlimited approach of the webpage, we take this opportunity to promote this famous gourmet food--Peitou meatball.

5) Discoveries, Lessons and Surprises (Optional)

1.We found out that customers are interested in Peitou meatball, and we hope that this gourmet food will get popular . 2.Due to the fact that everybody has been in the hurry and also that instructor has been occupied with many other things, we just cannot come up with a satiafactory research report. This is something that we will have to improve for the next time.
