Project Overview

1. Description of Our Community

Interact Club is an organization promoting the cooperation between students in different communities, cultures,and even nations. So the difinition of Interact clubs is supposed to be the whole world. But in this project, we focus on the developing of Interact Club of Taipei Tienmou. HSNU, our school, is the main community to this project.

2. Summary of Our Project

Peruse our project, and you would know the story about the origination of a students' public-serving club in HSNU.

A. Percentage of students using the Internet at home:more than 50%

B. Number of workstations with Internet access in the classroom:none

4. Problems We Had To Overcome

The most difficult problem in the process of our studing is the shortage of work time. Because we desided to take part in this case study in early March this year. And school exam is coming, most student didn't have much time to spend on this project.

6. How did your activities and research for this CyberFair Project support standards, required coursework and curriculum standards?

To make our project much more substantial, students who join this CyberFair project have to study and learn extensively. The project really did our good.

Project Elements

1) What information tools & technologies did you used to complete your CyberFair project?

Personal computers, digital recording pen, books & papers, recorder, camera & scanner, computer softwares (such as: Microsoft Office Word, notebook, Dreamwaver, PhotoImpact, etc.) these technologies help us to handle the data we study more convienently.

2) In what ways did you act as "ambassadors" and spokespersons for your CyberFair project both on-line and in person.

We hope that we can arouse the care of people by introducing such a group urging teenagers to help, be thoughtful for others. And welcome the new members to join us.

3) What has been the impact of your project on your community?

The most impacting thing is going to attand the yearly localized meeting holding by SHKC. It's a rare experance for us to see the situation in the meeting.

4) How did your project involve other members of your community as helpers and volunteers?

We must have to thanks to Mr. Huang ,Mr. Fun and other people who have ever helped us to finish this project.
