Our community means that on giant net world, there are many different kinds of clubs and communities . As time goes by, people today change their view points. The values and creativity of art is also different. On the broad net world, there are some special artist. And they are our research topic. Today's digital photo and electronic art, what's the different between these and normal art? We will introduce them one by one.

Our main purpose is to introduce those surprising art web sites to people. These artist is different from those who use water-color or oil-painting. Their technology and creativity gives people different feeling.

D. Number of years our classroom has been connected to the Internet:more than 6

E. Additional comments concerning your computer and/or Internet access (Optional):

In our school, we have a special line--T1(dail up connection from Tam Kang university), as a result, when we use internet at school, the speed is ok. But, when we come home and surf net, the speed is really slow(except Harmony). However, we try our best to finish our program in times.

4. Problems We Had To Overcome

1.Times: We are all junior two students. Besides lots of school tests, our school often holds many contests and activities for us. We are really busy. But each member in our team is very responsible. We all finish our job in time. "Union is strength". 2.Interview: It's a big problem for us. We send lots of E-mail to tho hostor of the web sites, but no one answer us! However, we'll keep trying. 3.Translation: It's really hard for junior high students to ranslate Chinese into English......However, we'll try our best.

5. Our Project Sound Bite

"Web Design Art" is the best computer technology!!

6. How did your activities and research for this CyberFair Project support standards, required coursework and curriculum standards?

Through this program, our direct teacher makes computer class more lively. Besides teaching how to use computer, she also teach students ow to appreciate other's work. Sometimes, she may teach some hard software, such as flash. Now our computer class becomes more lively and vivid. Furthermore, we change our view for art. People used to think art is a picture by water color and markers. But, it's not true. Art is really broad. What we want to introduce is "Electronic Art". We can use some time to appreciate different kind of art.

Project Elements

1) What information tools & technologies did you used to complete your CyberFair project?

Hardware: Computers(K7 750MHz, Pentuin III 650MHz) Telephones Software: Dreamweaver 4 Flash 5.0 PhotoImpact 6 Notebook Outlook Express

2) In what ways did you act as "ambassadors" and spokespersons for your CyberFair project both on-line and in person.

We discuss our home page with the other home page designer by E-mail and leave message on web sites. As a result, every one can be the speaker. But it's a pity that we can't discuss with. Those designers face to face.

3) What has been the impact of your project on your community?

Through this program, we surf lots of web sites. We are surprised at the giant net world. How did they do such great work? It is interesting to us. I used to feel I am good at computers, but now, I know I still have to learn a lot. What I know is only a small part of computer knowledge. That's why we choose "Electronic Art Web Site" as our topic.

4) How did your project involve other members of your community as helpers and volunteers?

We can find lots of helpers on the internet. They always give us different opinions and advice. They left their advice on the internet. Thanks for those who give us advice. They makes our page better and better.

Our Lessons:Introducing Electronic Art Web Sites, of course our web site must show in art.It is easy to say that, but it is hard to do this!In our group, only our captain Evan and Nico can use flash well, so they do almost whole web site, they must be tired!
