Project Overview

1. Description of Our Community

There are numberless children living in miseries due to adults¡¦ indulgence in gambling, drugs, alcoholism, and sexual vices. 4. Problems We Had To Overcome

As we are witnessing the Social degradation, gambling, drugs, alcoholism, and sexual vices have also polluted our campus. Could those wise leaders ultimately solve the serious problems generated by the flooded unlawful places of gambling, drug-pushing, alcohol abuse and sinful sex ? Having held the post of an educator for some decades, I wonder frequently: ¡§What is to be done with the unfortunately twisted life of our subsequent generation? Publishing of our keen sentiment is apt to be branded as school reputation spoilers by the apple-polishers or people who know not what is right or wrong. However, the idea of staying out of wave-makings and keeping everything to ourselves will definitely jeopardize the posterity. Therefore, we have to say and do what we are expected not to say or do so.

5. Our Project Sound Bite

Our hearts are filled with joys! In FU-CHIH CAMP(CAMP OF BLESSINGS & WISDOM), there were many teachers who taught the students of lower grades in primary schools claiming that they had downloaded the ¡§THOUGHTS- LIGHTENING WEB SITe¡¨ from our school on-line, http://www.cljh.tc.edu.tw teaching resources, and printed six illustrations to decorate their classrooms for the students. This might intangibly help, move and influence the children in their establishing of concept of good value and quest for right course of living.

6. How did your activities and research for this CyberFair Project support standards, required coursework and curriculum standards?

I have learned more effective than traditional methods to teach bad adults who have bad habits.(1) Serving as a reminder to parents, most particularly, the educators not to indulge themselves in gambling, drugs, alcoholism, and sexual sins, so as to avoid showing negative examples to the next generation. (2) Pondering the question of how to promote the students¡¦ heart and soul in teaching of Mandarin and literature.
