Project Elements

1) What information tools & technologies did you used to complete your CyberFair project?

We used computers - internet, database, e-mail, adobe photoshop, and also we use a camera.

2) In what ways did you act as "ambassadors" and spokespersons for your CyberFair project both on-line and in person.

Kim and Sally went to the San Diego Zoo a couple of times. Sally got an interview with a zoologist researcher, while Kim took many pictures. Sally went to a Panda Awareness Conference, where she learned many interesting facts about Pandas and what researchers are currently researching. Kim went to a different conferences relating endangered animals and what the community can do.

3) What has been the impact of your project on your community?

More people in our own little community, Linda Vista, have been visiting the zoo after hearing about our project. And we convinced a few people to donate money towards Panda research in San Diego Zoo.

4) How did your project involve other members of your community as helpers and volunteers?

Thanks for Anne Lambert for giving us the opportunity to visit the San Diego Zoo. Thanks for John Panian for telling us when and where the conference were.
