6. How did your activities and research for this CyberFair Project support standards, required coursework and curriculum standards?

Project Elements

1) What information tools & technologies did you used to complete your CyberFair project?

2) In what ways did you act as "ambassadors" and spokespersons for your CyberFair project both on-line and in person.

3) What has been the impact of your project on your community?

The fact is that kite sports are very popular in Dongshan community and one of few things yet to be completed is digitizing the topic of Kite and related researches in the features of local kite culture, other than data recorded on papers, Kite Hall, DVC and a bit of digitized data. Therefore under such guidance, we came to term with Dongshan Township Office to make integral thematic research for locals to see more about hometown of kite - Dongshan, through the convenience of Internet.

4) How did your project involve other members of your community as helpers and volunteers?

5) Discoveries, Lessons and Surprises (Optional)

During the period we were making web pages and discussion the thematic research plan, we realized the importance of division, cooperation and team work. Also, because the web pages are produced in the form of thesis, in addition to boosting the spirit of initiative research, we have upgraded our problem solving ability through technology capacity and we have been able to tie the school education with the community tightly and helped to shape Dongshan the Hometown of Kite in Taiwan.
