Wishing you a very happy 2020,

Please consider participating in International CyberFair 2020, an award-winning, authentic learning program used by schools and youth organizations around the world.

The theme for CyberFair 2020 is "Remember & Unite!" Remember the Past, Create the Present, Inspire the Future!

Global SchoolNet's CyberFair (virtual world's fair) combines project-based learning and digital storytelling (e.g. website and/or video story), as youth {ages 8-19) tell how to improve, preserve and unite communities.

* Projects are due March 20, 2020 * Winners are announced in May

Youth conduct research about their local communities and then publish their findings as stories on the web. Recognition is given for the best projects in each of eight categories: local leaders, businesses, community organizations, historical landmarks, environment, music, art, and local specialties.

This program encourages youth to become ambassadors for their own local communities by working collaboratively with community members and using digital media tools to publish a Web site that displays what they have learned.

Celebrating 25 years, this annual contest has involved more than 5.5 million students from 45,00 schools across 105 countries and is considered the longest running international cyber event of its kind.

Competition judging takes place online, as students evaluate each others projects by using a web-based evaluation tool designed by Global SchoolNet.
