Greg Fitzgerald - Director of Strategic Relations

Greg serves as Director of Strategic Relations for the Global SchoolNet Foundation. His role is to establish win-win relationships between GSN and their business and community partners. As assistant to founders Al and Yvonne, Greg is responsible for public relations, marketing and fund raising. One of his personal goals is to involve as many schools, organizations, and corporate partners as possible in helping to build the "Global Schoolhouse."

Greg also serves as a spokesperson for Global SchoolNet activities by keeping the print and broadcast media informed, as well as presenting at training seminars and conferences around the country.

In addition, Greg interacts on a daily basis with the 7th and 8th grade students at Jefferson Middle School and with students fourth grade through high school around the world, over the Internet via Cornell University's video-conferencing software. Greg assists these students in becoming better collaborators, communicators, and information managers.

Greg is a long time educator and businessman who has enthusiastically embraced the benefits of technology. He realized the immense potential of computer technology back in 1979 as he sat in front of his Apple II+. Greg has served as the project coordinator for several projects, including the Family Tree-Mail Language Translation project.

Greg's passion (besides tennis!) lies in finding more effective ways to educate kids around the globe and guide them into the 21st century!
