  • GMTime 10: November 21, 2004: Global Learn Day Local Event (NEW TOWN, Tasmania Australia)
    • The local event would be held for two purposes: to save individual families money and to provide publicity for GLD and the participating student organisations.
    • A "marathon" session in a computer lab, listening to the GLD broadcast and discussing it online on a buleetin board at http://www.tazum.com . [1-Nov-04]

  • GMTime 1: November 26, 2004: This is Our Time - (Sao Paulo, Brazil)
    • All activities come together on one annual Time day. The project day takes off at 00:00 UTC (Universal Time Code). During 24 hours, all participants are online. They chat, discuss, reflect, interact, learn and teach.
    • Time is an annual global telecommunications project for secondary schools. Time seeks effective and innovative ways to enable young people from many different cultures and countries to communicate and co-operate with each other on current world issues. This is expressed is a wide range of educational activities. [20-Nov-04]

  • GMTime -8: October 1, 2004: International Schools CyberFair (Encinitas, California United States)
    • Prepare and Unite! The purpose of International Schools CyberFair is for students, their schools and their local communities to use the Internet to share resources, establish partnerships and work together to accomplish common goals. We believe that involving youth in educational outreach projects - can foster worldwide friendships and unite communities.
    • International Schools CyberFair, now in its tenth year, is an award-winning, authentic learning program used by schools and youth organizations around the world. Students conduct research about their local communities and then publish their findings on the World Wide Web. Recognition is given to schools for the best projects in each of eight categories: local leaders, businesses, community organizations, historical landmarks, environment, music, art, and local specialties.
